The Tokyo turf mile combines a long home straight with a demanding uphill section, placing emphasis on both sustained speed and finishing acceleration. The winner also receives priority entry to the Mile Championship (G1), adding further significance to the contest.
The 2026 list of registered horses includes Admire Zoom, Trovatore, David Barows, Ampadu, Magic Sands, Water Licht, Keep Calm and Ecoro Alba. These are preliminary registrations, not a confirmed starting field. The final runners and jockeys should be checked after the official declarations.
